The HALFF Heart Hub meets in Seaton once a month with monthly newsletters and recipe sheets, and is aimed at people with or at risk of diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease, or for help to prevent them.

We run regular cooking and nutrition courses at youth clubs for vulnerable children and teenagers.
The courses provide them with the opportunity to interact with adults, giving them more confidence, better independent living skills, involving them in food preparation and making it fun.
We also show them that they are being listened to so they feel comfortable asking questions.
At present we work with:
Littleham Youth Group in Exmouth, Thursdays, contact email@example.com for more info
Millwey Youth Group in Axminster, Tuesdays, contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info
HALFF run Make and Munch cooking and nutrition sessions to teach parents of young children about a healthy diet and how to cook simple meals that are both nutritious and tasty, helping children to grow up healthier and be able to enjoy a better quality of life.
Apart from HALFF, there are no cooking skills and nutrition sessions available locally. We do 5-6 sessions run in a community centre or at an existing playgroup. Each course covers a range of cooking skills, and nutritional and parenting topics.
Contact email@example.com for more info.
A one off, or set of three sessions, exploring weaning, HALFF cover the different stages of weaning, from introducing the first foods, to finger foods, and moving onto lumpy solids.
We demonstrate how to make purees at the consistencies suitable for each stage, offering tasters. Our staff will talk around some of the main concerns and problems parents may have and try to offer advice where appropriate.
We can visit your setting for a lunchbox or pizza make up session for children, playgroup leaders and parents - whichever suits you best. Contact HALFF for more details and to arrange a suitable date.
